Gangs in Blue

Ironic how the 'men in blue' are supposed to be stopping gang violence, and instead, have created their own gangs within.

The L.A. Times has an interesting story about a Los Angeles County Sheriff Sgt. harassing another Los Angeles County Sheriff Sgt. over a period of years as a result of a vendetta motivated by "ties to a secret deputy clique."

In addition to the Vikings, the department has identified other cliques with names such as the Cavemen and the Regulators.

Recently, there have been fresh allegations of deputy cliques operating in the county jails. A group of jailers, who were known to brandish gang-like hand signs, were involved in a brawl with other deputies at a 2010 department Christmas party. They were known as the 3000 clique because they worked on the third floor of Men's Central Jail.
Hmm...clique sounds like a codeword for a gang to me.

And here's an investigative news report on the gangs with badges from 2011.

Part 1 & 2

Part 3 & 4

Part 5

This story is about the L.A. Sheriff Department, but you're fooling yourself if you think it doesn't happen elsewhere. I know about the gang like behavior in the Torrance PD but won't say more to protect my source. Maybe another time. But the point is, it happens everywhere.

Ask yourselves this, if they (gangs in blue) purposefully break their Oaths during peacetime, what makes you think that they will keep their Oaths when the SHTF? And what about their superiors who KNOW this is going on and do nothing about it?
