New Training for Border Patrol Agents: "Run Away" and "Hide" When Encountering A Shooter

Run Forrest! Run!

That's what the newest "Virtual Learning Center" training course for Border Patrol Agents advises them to do in when confronting an active shooter.

According to the National Border Patrol Council, Local 2544:

...we are now taught in an "Active Shooter" course that if we encounter a shooter in a public place we are to "run away" and "hide". If we are cornered by such a shooter we are to (only as a last resort) become "aggressive" and "throw things" at him or her. We are then advised to "call law enforcement" and wait for their arrival (presumably, while more innocent victims are slaughtered).
This must be part of the new kinder and gentler Border Patrol, after all, we don't want anyone to get hurt, especially if they have a gun.

Good job Uncle Janet! You're turning our first line of defense in securing the border into a bunch of screaming little girls.

Our borders will be further over run in no time when the invaders figure out that running and shooting will cause BP Agents to run away and hide, resulting in another needless death like Brian Terry's.

The first agent to go against this directive and fire back in self-defense will be held on charges for doing his job, just like Ramos and Compean.

I guarantee it.
