Shooting Rampage at Elementary School

Another (planned?) mass shooting, but this time in a Connecticut Elementary school.

20+ dead, mostly students.

Details sketchy but I'm reading some initial reports of at least 2 gunmen with one being killed and another escaping.

Same initial report as the Aurora theater shooting incident.

Same initial report as the Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting incident.

So far the Clackamas Town Center shooting only reported a single shooter.

Here's a snippet from an initial report.
Multiple people, including children, have been killed in a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

The number of dead is unclear, but there are at least 20 shooting victims. Many of the shootings took place in a kindergarten classroom, sources said.

One entire classrom is unaccounted for outside the school, sources said.

A person believed to be a shooter is dead. Earlier reports of a second shooter are unconfirmed.

ABC News reported through federal, local officials that more than a dozen people, including children, were shot and killed.

Three people were brought to Danbury Hospital, but their condition is unknown. The emergency room is on lockdown.

Police were still searching the school at 11 a.m., and police dogs had been brought in. Around noon, the triage area was broken down, stretchers were taken away and the SWAT team left the building.

Prayers for the family of those killed or injured. Having relatives who were physically in Columbine during the shooting, I have a sense of how they must feel.

You can bet that there will be calls for 'assault weapons' bans within hours, if not sooner.
You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.  -Rahm Emanuel
Stand by for a major assault on our the name of safety.
Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

  1. And so it begins.
    I don't know if morbid
    sarcasm would be rude at
    this moment, but given the
    fact of what may quickly
    follow this tragedy, black swan
    event or completely random, many
of us may soon be dead.
The "many" I refer to are those
free people still left, who believe
in(respect/defend)the Constitution, the rule of law and the fredom to maintain, protect and defend(by any means necessary)our birthright
of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Here it comes, it's not a clay pigeon, it's a black swan.

    1. Black swan was my first thought too. We'll see.

  2. I guess this what POTUS meant when he said,"Under the radar".
I say pass a law making it mandatory for everyone to be armed and anyone who opps out can pay a tribute to the police for protection.
    They did it for healthcare.
Arming everyone will not result in a civil war as taking arms from everyone will, and will quite probably result in a massive drop in violent crime. We have tried the disarm approach and it has failed miserably. Pass an additional law where using a gun to commit a crime is a capital offense.Time to get tough in the right direction.

    1. They don't want us to be armed, period. They have an agenda and they're sticking to it.

    2. Of course not. Their agenda is no secret except to the millions with their heads where the sun don't shine.

  3. Another Socialist massacre in a Socialist "gun-free zone" committed by the Socialist spawn of a Socialist gubmint employee. And, w/in minutes, the pocket-Stalin Bloomberg is on the air braying about "gun control". Same bloody script, we see right through it, and the Reds - despite their worst efforts - are not going to do a Ukraine on us. We'll just keep our guns. All of them. And, when the time is ripe, use them to remove this Evil Regime.

  4. I strongly suspect that this will be the watershed event where the next great infringement on the second amendment happens. Diane Fuckstein wanted a ban on the possession and sale of all semi-automatic rifles and handguns. That's the least of the worries. This could tip the Senate's vote tally in favor of the UN Arms Trade Treaty (the UN Convention on the Rights for the Disabled, another anti-constitutional treaty, was voted down by a razor thin margin).
