Colorado Sheriff Refuses to Enforce New Gun Laws

When you pass knee-jerk feel good laws, while ignoring your local law enforcement's input and concerns, you get resistance.
(Sheriff) Cooke said he, like other county sheriffs, “won’t bother enforcing” the laws because it will be impossible for them to keep track of how the requirements are being met by gun owners. He said he and other sheriffs are considering a lawsuit against the state to block the measures if they are signed into law.

  1. While this is good news, there's still reason to be concerned.

If all that keeps a tyrannical law from being enforced is a good sheriff, what happens when a corrupt sheriff gets that power?

The laws need to be repealed or nullified or ... gotten rid of somehow.

    1. All the Gun laws are already null and void - they are in conflict with the 2nd amendment. The 2nd is Over the States.

The Carry Permits are also UN Constitutional. A Permit to carry is permission to do something you already have the right to do.

  2. These are the same Sheriffs (Local and Nationwide) that are happy to enFORCe all the current UN Constitutional Gun Laws,

That Obey the UN Constitutional banking system when they are told to come take your house,

That OBEYS the UN Constitutional Federal Drug Laws in non-Federal Territory.

    You mean Those Sheriffs?

I would be very surprised if there are 5 Sheriffs in the whole country that really understands the Constitution as written other than what the SCOTUS Tells them it means.
