Magpul Move Finalized - Colo. Dems Blamed for $80M Hit To Economy

It's now official.
Magpul Industries threatened to leave Colorado after the legislature passed a measure banning weapons magazines with more than 15 rounds.

And now that is official.

The Erie-based ammunition magazine manufacturer said Thursday it is relocating its operations to Cheyenne and Texas.

Most of the 200-plus employees will not be moving to Wyoming, where manufacturing and distribution will take place, said spokesman Duane Liptak.

I wonder how Gov. (c)Hickenlooper will spin this?
Democrats came under heavy criticism Friday for driving Magpul Industries out of Colorado by pushing an aggressive gun-control agenda, a move that could cost the state more than $80 million annually.

So far no Democratic lawmakers, including Mr. Hickenlooper, have commented publicly on Magpul’s decision to leave Colorado, although several Democrats have said that job growth is their top priority for 2014.

So the knuckleheads in Colorado have gone ahead and made tools to defend oneself severely handicapped, whilst making a mind altering drug legal available for purchase on every street corner to anyone over 21.
